- Go to ZEISS Portal and Register / Sign In.
- Download ZEISS Microscopy Installer, which can be found in the Download Center of the ZEISS Portal.
- Once installed, open ZEISS Microscopy Installer and set it to download and install ZEN.

What is the difference between Zen blue and Zen Black?
ZEN Black is the software Zeiss uses to run their laser-based instruments, it will be more familiar to most people. ZEN Blue is used for Zeiss widefield microscopes and cameras, but it also happens to be better at exporting from the Zeiss CZI file format to TIF. For most users we recommend that you choose ZEN Blue.
